Type 38 ariaka for sale.

Non-matching assembly numbers. Decent bore with defined rifling and no muzzle wear. Stock in good shape besides minor crackes. Missing rear sight evelator button and spring.

Rifle was retired from military service for "Ministry of Education" (Japan's equivalent of the ROTC) training use. Mum cancelled with the Kokura Arsenal stamp.

Accepting trades for other milsurp.

How do you know it's a training rifle

"Ministry of Education" marking below the mum, along with the double 0s before the serial number.

Unlike training rifles, these "school rifles" are fully capable of firing live ammo. They are regular military Type 38s retired from military service for export/police or guard use/university ROTC equivalent/etc...

Purpose built training rifles are constructed from pot metal, lacking locking lugs and are ONLY meant for blank/training ammo firing
