Hey all. I'm trying to see if anyone has load data for TSS. Looking to have loadings for 1/4 and 1/2 TSS with 1oz of #2 steel on top. If the velocity is around 1500fps that would be great. Im decently experienced but I like to verify with a couple people before I start loading and blasting.

You are correct putting the tss on the bottom of the wad. As long as you have data for the steel recipe and the weight of the shot collectively (steel plus tss) is the same, you can use that data. There are a ton of reloading books available. Status of Steel is an excellent one… https://www.ballisticproducts.com/Status-of-Steel-manual-19th-ed/productinfo/00MSTEEL/
Keep in mind that when you get up to 1500fps, it is common to blow your pattern into a donut. With the tss, velocity matters less and you may want to find a 1450fps load.

My concern is that the tss wont take up as much volumn as the steel shot will. I suppose I can use felt spaces(sometimes just cardboard circles work). Biggest thing is finding some alliant steel powder atm

Ive herd that with faster loads. Personally i've had no problem hitting birds its just mainly wanting them to be stone dead.
