what was the viewing range on the Elk with the Dig. sight ? looks under the 100 yrd. range ?
Elk are pretty laid back at night when moving and browsing all together. Their amazingly quiet for big animals. I been out coyote hunting at night and have a heard move in within 150 yrd area to me. they had to hop over a 5 ft. wire fence also. I could not believe what little noise they made .
After a while watching them, I thought I would be cute and hit my Ecall that was out about halfway between us . I played loud.. 'domestic yapping/barking dogs' . They never even flinched a muscle or payed any attention to the call, like they could not give a crap.. Intimidated...NOT .. LOL
