Guess it depends on what it's worth to you and how fast you want to get it sold. I think 458 SOCOM is a fun round. Tromix is definitely the way to go with this round. Tony makes great stuff.

yep, as is always the case, what is it worth to the seller versus what it is worth to the buyer.
I have right at $2800 invested in it and the odds and ends I am tossing in. I will let it ride a while but I am getting out of the hobby for the most part, my days of shooting anything but paper are quickly sliding away. I was hoping someone would be wanting to get hold of the Tromix and extras for Christmas, but I guess I was wrong again. Because of the recoil reducing butt stock, even an old man like me can comfortably shoot it, heck my wife has even shot it and only complained about the sound levels (she was wearing ear plugs and muffs). I hate busting the package apart because of the way market factors are now, and the buyer will certainly want some ammo to take it to the range and all. My biggest worry is being here in K'Falls at the far end of it all (Well at least I'm not in Adel, that really is the far edge of civilization).

Thanks for looking and for the kind words on the Tromix upper, Tony does build some terrific stuff.

Nice setup with all the extras. I have 2 Tromix 458 socom builds that are very reliable and accurate. I have shot several deer with mine as it is the perfect tool for hunting out of a tree stand for coastal blacktails. Pictures would probably help your cause, Glws.

I built a bolt gun with one of Tony's remage barrels. 500 grainers hit hard even subsonic. And I can load supers hotter. Pushing 250 monoflexs 2500 fps.

I have been using 325 grain flextips. never crono'd them, but they knock things down and keep them down.
