Those weird little Mexican Trejo machine-pistols look like fun. Granted, they're totally impractical for anything other than a lightening fast mag dump and the grins, but still. Anywho, the latest Forgotten Weapon episode is on the select-fire Modelo 1 and I thought I'd pass it along in case anyone else might enjoy.

These are neat pistols.
I got to handle one captured during the invasion of Panama in 1989.
Sure wish I was the one who " souvenired " it and could sneak it home.... Oh Well.

There must be quite a few out there as we've had several come in over the years for threading.
I got to shoot one years ago at the Big Sandy Shoot, I think it might have been Bob Farris's from memory. The 8rnd mag only lasts a fsplit second, but it was strangely addictive.

I read an article, I think it was in Small Arms Review, that said a number of them came up legally and others were amnesty registered in '68.
