Finger off the trigger, Got it. Now I noticed I keep my finger off the trigger of my drill, Saw, Pressure washer etc. Silly monk.

I do too! Isint it great. I even hold my drill, pressure washer, etc. at somewhat low ready. Apparently training works.... weird.

I only worrry when my barber, a self proclaimed polock, pulls out the clippers. Never realized till now but I have been indexed my circular saw when not cutting.

I use an RF scanner like this at work. After I got back from Frontsight last month, I caught myself holding it with finger straight, off the trigger button- LOL!

Also guilty, I always carry the impact gun or drill at work with my finger straight. I have started looking for it too when I see people working, not many keep their finger off the trigger when not engaging screws.

LOL... I too, carry drills and such with a straightened booger-hook until ready to use, but I was amused to find myself carrying a caLking (pronounce the "L" now.. LOL) gun in the patrol carry postion one day... it just felt "right"... sheesh.

yep, I catch myself all the time treating my dewalt cordless drill like a handgun, keeping it pointed in a safe direction and my finger off the trigger till I am ready to drill.
