I've got a custom Tikka barrel up for sale.
Started life as a .30 Cal Shilen Match countoured blank. Chambered, cut, threaded, and crowned by Crown Ridge Barrel Works (CRBW)
Twist is 1:10
Chambered in .300 Winchester Short Mag
Length is 22"
Shilen Contour #5 (Lightweight Varmint)
Threaded at 5/8x24tpi
Shoots well, my initial test loads gave me great results. More than adequate for hunting. I didn't attempt to fine-tune those loads due to time getting away from me.
Barrel utilizes a nut. Because of this and the thicker profile barrel, factory stocks will require some modification. I did this successfully with a dremel and sand paper. It eventually rested in a Pure Precision Altitude Stock that required some relief around the barrel nut, but that's it.
Perfect solution for anyone interested in an easy switch-barrel setup!
I'll also note, the groups in the photos were produced while the action and barrel were sitting in the factory stock.
