Have you tried some ammonia on a bronze brush?...
That can cure a lot of "rough bore" issues...that said I have seen "rough bore" rifles still shoot well enough to hunt with.

These are excellent rifles and you have a great price.

A friend of mine needed some money a few years ago. I bought it from him for $150. He did not clean it after shooting at a buck during hunting season. It did not like my 380 grain conicals that i cast so I really have no interest in it. I need a little cash for a few builds I am starting so I figured I would just get my money back.
