Why can we not just give a brief description of what our threads are about and what to expect when we click on a link?

Sorry, but most other message boards more info is required in a opening post. And sorry for the thread crap, whatever it is about.

Fixed it for you...others to be updated as well.
 
More up-to-date FMs would be more useful ... These FMs are 20, 30, 50 years old... that's a lifetime in military techniques and operations.... a lot of lessons learned in the last 2, 3, 5 decades are not incorporated in these outdated FMs...
 
Hey, I'm merely pointing out that folks who don't know better, should be aware that they should look for more recently (eg, 2009 or so) Field Manuals.
