Unfortunately the SKS can no longer be purchased, transferred, or imported into the State of Washington.Maybe you can buy one from Oleg. He can always get another.

I was at my local FFL to pickup a Bula M1A right before the ban, when I saw the SKS on the wall, I didn't have the $$ to buy it at the time.I saw a Russian AK with a folding stock in a second hand store when you didn't need a FFL for personal sales. I am still kicking myself for not buying it even though it was in a very used condition.
Can it get more retarded? PAXUnfortunately the SKS can no longer be purchased, transferred, or imported into the State of Washington.
Yes See Washington HB 1163Can it get more retarded? PAX
Does Washington have ( or had ) gun registration by serial number for long guns before their A.W. ban?Unfortunately the SKS can no longer be purchased, transferred, or imported into the State of Washington.
Until 2014 Kali had Cash & Carry, like many states still do, and once off the books it's best if they stay that way. The issue becomes, in today's world, trust. Hard to put it out there for and unknown weasel. In an old circle of friends, different story. In reality the chances are slim, but the potential worst-case scenario is severe. If not, then cash and carry. Or whimper and let the party of Donkeys run roughshod over your personal freedoms.
After Google search, it seems that Washington state has no registration by serial #, and no reporting of long-guns sales to your local LEO. That being the case, I personally would have no problem selling or giving an SKS ( or any other long gun) to a trusted friend. Especially since Wa. has no paper trail to follow for long gun transfers. The horse is already out of the barn. You could have "charged" it. It's called priorities. It wasn't important enough for you to obtain it before a certain ban.I was at my local FFL to pickup a Bula M1A right before the ban, when I saw the SKS on the wall, I didn't have the $$ to buy it at the time.
