I was on the Central Oregon coast this weekend when I noticed a family of obvious Californians. With all the negative attributes that have recently been attached to this particular connotation, I was pleasantly surprised to notice some positives in this group:
They didn't seem intent on imposing their personal politics here...

They hung around for a while to take in the local atmosphere....
Sampled the local cuisine...
Tried some botanicals...
Spent some clams...
Then...When it came time to leave, they headed home...
