Well I stand corrected. Through no fault of his own, that was a boring Max Holloway fight. That was 25 minutes of Oliveira takedowns and control time and that was about it.

Last nights card was fantastic!

Adasenya, as great as he is, couldn't pick up what pyfer was laying down.

And Grasso, what a beast!

Agreed. A lot of great fights!

Grasso is both beautiful and a complete badarse. I was a little cranky that Climate Pledge Arena was chanting "Mehico" for Grasso vs the American Barber, but that's the country we live in now. We're cooked, but that's a topic for another thread.

By the way, just heard Nate Diaz will have a fight on the Carano v Rousey card in May.

Really excited for that!

Both fighters ate a lot of punches. Both fighters gassed by the end of round 1. Rogan said it best.."any 15 seconds of that fight could be a highlight reel"

Don't think I've seen that many birdies flipped in a fight lol.

Fun fight to watch.

What did your coworker say?
Apparently there was a "No Kings" protest going on in that area, so he said it was an interesting mix haha.

This was his first UFC event and he didn't realize it was an all day affair if you go to watch the 8 or so fights before the card.

I went to the first Seattle UFC back when it was still KeyArena and Tito Ortiz backed out fighting Bigfoot. I remember there were more fights in the stands than I've ever seen at any sporting event, but apparently it was chill vibe for his experience.

The Grasso fight was the highlight for him, I was a little envious he got to see a card with so many finishes.

Overall, he had a great time being he is a very casual fan of the sport and wasnt familiar with any of the fighters.

When I heard the UFC was coming to Seattle again I was planning on going, that is until I saw the price of halfway decent seats.
