When I buy a gun I don't need, I suddenly need a new holster, new new sights, new spare parts, a bunch more magazines, new grips, an upgraded trigger, and on and on it goes.

I don't ever have any good "trading stock" because I make every gun my own with a string of new purchases to upgrade any new gun purchase:

"The Diderot Effect states that obtaining a new possession often creates a spiral of consumption which leads you to acquire more new things." Yep, that's me...
