The crappy part was there were some really nice vehicles getting wrecked!

Strip out the "Robert McCall" name and the Denzel Washington Equalizer movies were pretty good action flicks. Let me rewrite 'em and I woulda just had it be DW's character be a McCall protege picking up where is fallen mentor left off... and I thought the McHale's Navy movie handled passing the torch respectfully having Tom Arnold McHle be Ernest Borgnine McHale's son having a new adventure with dad's old boat.

Superman II more than Superman. Mostly because of Zod.
Rambo II more than First Blood.
Terminator 2 more than T1
Aliens more than Alien

Of course, these are from long ago. Current day? Sequels are just made because there is little imagination now.
Loved the original Equalizer btw with his son straight out of the Cobra Kai Dojo.
