Looking to see if there are any experienced TCGC members who are action range certified that are willing to let me shoot in the bays with them. I am a member and waiting till March for my test to be certified. I am familiar with the club rules and just want to be a better shooter and prepared for the test. I have plenty of experience shooting and ran a few matches. Please reach out. Thank you in advanced!

Yes I am. I'm confident I'll pass but would like to make sure with some more training.
It would be a plus to do more difficult drills as well just to reinforce.

Beware that there is two components to the certification. The rules portion and the shooting portion. So you need to be confident with the specific rules of the action range in addition to shooting skills. It's really basic common sense but skipping straight to the certification you don't get the actual explanation/demonstration of the rules and it's incumbent upon you to do your homework and understand them prior to your certification and if you happen to fail, you'll have to start at the ASF class and then on to the ARC class…..

Having said that it sounds like you're pretty much squared away and shouldn't have that much difficulty. I'm a current member with action range certification and also a former RSO for the club.

Does shooting 3 gun matches there count

Just an update to this thread. I had @yh3 out several times for coaching/mentoring and his action range certification was this morning. I fortunate enough to be able observe him and his class. I'm happy to report that he aced it. I couldn't have asked for a better performance from him. Well done Y. You put in the extra effort with your training and you were rewarded for your hard work! No more kiddy pool for you….congrats! 😂😂😂

Now I get to play with the big dogs in the yard lol. Thanks for all your help man and taking the time out of your day to help me out, I really appreciate it!

Now, that's what this site is about! Helping shooters to become better shooters, and with some hearty fun-for-all, too! :s0115:
