Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Ive never got the 300 BLK thing. I know there are folks that defend it to the death with all kinds of justifications but I just cant see it as having any value for me personally.
If you were to go for an SBR or AR pistol, then the .300 BLK or 7.62x39 would be a much better choice than 5.56x45 as the latter just loses way too much velocity in short barrels. Also, the heavier .30 caliber bullets would do better in subsonic velocities, and from what I understand that is where the .300 BLK does well.
