It will probably work as well as any other Chinese optic.

I still EDC an Arkfeld Ultra, BTW. I like Olight enough to pocket their products I suppose. But that optic is 100% Chinese made and probably rebranded somewhere too. They have a US office in Georgia with a decent social media presence but they are a Chinese company.
So is Holosun, which I bring up only to say that being made in China isn't a dealbreaker for me (indeed I am quite explicit about the fact that I know it's made in China in posts 31 and 32). I don't think any of us have any illusions to the contrary - we know it's made in China. That said, some of the stuff coming out of China now is pretty solid, and this may be, too. Some of the stuff coming out of China is crap, and this might also be crap.

Only one way to find out. ;)

I'd rather spend a few more bucks than support China's economy. I know a lot of stuff come from there but if I have a choice.........

I have no such qualms, and also it's not what I would consider a few more bucks - as far as I am aware, the only compact red dot sight that fits a G48 MOS and is made in America is the Trijicon RMRcc (MSRP $734), which is 4.6 times as expensive, nearly $600 more. If the price delta were not so massive and "not buying Chinese" was something I were passionate about, or I needed a duty-rated optic, I'd go with the RMRcc, sure. Not saying you're wrong for feeling that way, it's a position I understand and respect, it's just not one I share.

Me owning at least 30 of their products and being burned by a few along the way........

Oh, there are so many things I'd do differently if I were a more morally or logically consistent person. No judgment here. ;)

I should clarify that I do prefer to buy American when I can, it just isn't a primary factor in my buying decisions.

I have the Osight SE on my Canik and so far so good. I found it easier to zero with just the dot on instead of the circle dot. This is my first red dot and I am still getting used to it. So far I have put right at 270 rounds down range since mounting it and its working great.

Keep us posted. I'd be curious how it does long term.
