The title tells you all you really need to know - the previous device had the scope set about 3/8" to the right - not a problem, since no matter what distance you were shooting at, the POI remained the same. Please ignore the dioptre foresight - I leave it on no matter what I'm shooting as I only have the one K31 for all the different 'comps' I shoot. I DO remove it for the iron sights only match, not shot here now for over three years.... This scope is a 1950's K4 Weaver of astonishing clarity - for $25 in a jun- antique shop in Wheeler.
However, I recently received a nice shiny new over-bore mount from my good friends in Kalispell, so I though I'd let the vacillators see what they are missing out on. The mounts are 1" Hawke model 23010, low mount QR with an old Weaver 6-9x40 scope of astonishing clarity, given its age - in excess of fifty years. Please note that apart from being a grateful sometime customer of Swiss Products, I have no other connection with them.
