The early ones like this were were built in Germany with the prized Swedish steel. Great shooters... I believe you are a bit under-priced if the bore is good.

Thanks. The bore is good and the pricing is aggressive. If you look at my threads, you'll see I'm selling a big chunk of my collection and I want it to move.

find another out there.....

1899 and 1900 were 2 yrs for Obendorf.
I once had one all matching w/ a turned down bolt From the Factory....
Oh why oh why did I sell it.....

It is rare to see one with bluing in such nice condition. The 6.5x55 cartridge is also easy to find brass and loaded ammo for.
