Hopefully they are conventionally jacketed with gilding metal or copper!steel bullets?
These usually have a steel core....kinda like some other surplus ammo...steel bullets?
Likely sintered iron.steel bullets?
You are correct, @MTpockets sent me a link. It is Chinese surplus ball with a copper spray coating... I'd never heard of that before. Based on the link he sent me looks to be 70's vintage and when I turned the can over I can see some type of writing on the bottom, it's really hard to make out but it does look like Chinese characters.I think the 351 headstamp indicates Chinese production.
Smells like cream of sum Yung guy!china is asshoe so giver a sniff
Better Sum Yung Chik.Smells like cream of sum Yung guy!
Not a problem but I'd assume it to be corrosively primed and would clean it as such shortly after firing.Ist time I've ever seen/heard of a "copper wash". Will be interesting to see how it feeds through the Zpap M70.

Can it be made? Perhaps really really soft steel?steel bullets?
I think the others above are correct its probably steel core with a lead bullet and a copper jacket. Can it be made? Perhaps really really soft steel?
Harden steel + rifled steel barrel = kaboom. Unless its a smooth bore.
