Yeah will post pics. The table will be done in maybe two weeks. Its accompanying stools will take longer. They will have 1/4" finger joints at the edges, which i have never done before. The jig and blade arrive in a couple days, but I will need to practice on crap stock before i do the real thing.

Spent some time talking to a master carpenter about tools. He was all about the track saw, and getting the right blade for it.

Cleaner and more accurate than a table saw. Spend the money on a good blade with a higher tooth count.

A Festool track saw is dang tough to beat if you can afford 'em. It's one of the tools on my list of things I'd like to get.

I looked at Festool. Ended up going with Makita after talking to my buddy who has used both extensively, and told me they are equivalent, assuming one uses the right blade and has skills (got both). It also helped that I already had another Makita tool using the same 40v battery.

Retired mid last year(65), but unfortunately still waking up at 4am.

I do that a lot too but it's usually just to pee. I'm just happy I still wake up to do that.
