"T Force", a ww2 unit formed near the end of the war in Europa... Cross of Lorraine perhaps indicating the connection to France.. neat, I wonder how that was connected to whoever put the insignia on the rifle? Someone really personalised that .30-30! "If only guns could talk, what stories we would hear"...

I have a 1962 (I believe) Savage 340C as in carbine in my safe. I got it from my father in-law about 8 or 9 years ago. I still have not shot it. It probably was last shot in the 60's by him. He had a good habit of buying rifles, firing a box of shells through them and then just putting them away. This 340C has an 18 inch barrel and is in about 95 % condition. I think in the 340 world this one is kinda one of a kind. 62 year old rifle that looks new. One day I plan on selling it with every thing else That I own as I have no heirs.
