One of the things I enjoy about doing this sort of work is learning how to do things Ive always admired but couldnt do worth a flip myself. Ive never been a "good" welder. Iver welded a ton but Ive never made pretty TIG welds. I set my big lathe up with a tig torch positioner and configured my TIG base unit up for wide pulse. Then I geared the lathe all the way down and set the VFD for 1.5 Hertz and it actually ran at that speed and I had the chuck running a blistering 1 RPM. Im pleased with the results.

I'd given up hope on finding something like this. I got a Sten MkII a couple years back and considered putting a suppressor together. This would definitely save me some work. Should I just shoot you a PM when I'm ready? Thanks!
