For sale or trade I have an 1884 Springfield Trapdoor (made in 1888, though it's not an 1888 model) alongside 14 rounds of black powder 45-70 ammo loaded by Buffalo Arms and a set of untouched 45-70 Lee dies. There is a bit of surface rust on a couple parts of the gun (mainly the trigger guard, butt plate and sling swivels) and the stock has a couple minor dings but there are no cracks or splits in the wood. The bore is in quite good condition for its age and the action functions excellently. The ammo has 405 grain projectiles on top of 70 grains of 2F black powder in Starline brass. These are not handloads these were made by a company called Buffalo Arms which makes a number of black powder cartridges. I'm attaching photographs below and asking $750 for everything. I'm in Newport but I can drive up to two hours to meet with somebody. From what I understand this item is classified as an antique and does not require an FFL but if you'd prefer to meet up at one that's totally fine by me. Photos attached below.
Willing to accept the following trades:
SMLE No. 1 Mk. 3 in .303 British
Arisaka Type 38 in 6.5 Japanese
Swiss K31 in 7.5 Swiss
SKS in 7.62x39
Polish or Russian Tokarev in 7.62x25

Or make me an offer! I like collecting milsurps so if you've got one in working condition that's not sporterized I'll consider it.
