Anyone shooting the Echelon Compact? This one really has my attention lately for some reason. Good reviews and videos. Looking to see if anyone here has firsthand experience with it or for that matter, its bigger brother.

I have the full size Echelon . Did a lot of research and comparison . Bought it 6 months after the initial release . I liked the features ; grip texture & feel in the hand , sights , clean trigger , slide serrations , magazines & controls . Bought a Hellcat 2 years before the Echelon and have really bonded with it . Mounted Holosun 507k x2 green Dot on both . Iron sights co-witness with green Dot . The Echelon I believe is a better pistol than Glock and I do own a G23 . The Echelon is what Glock should have graduated into IMHO . Springfield has done well with their new pistols , PCC & semi rifle models . :)

Greatly appreciate the post and info! I'm going in to my LGS tomorrow and speak with one of the owners on ordering me one through Springfields Firstline program. I'll update more as soon as I learn a bit more on how this will progress.

Well, unfortunately, the Echelon will not be mine for now! They were out of stock through my LGS warehouse and Les Schwab just told me, I needed new break setup on my rear wheels. :(

Well, the brakes are fixed to the tune of $545 down the vehicle hole! The Echelon compact is still tugging at me, so may need to move a couple that aren't being shot to acquire it. Seems like I'm never satisfied unless I can try every gun, I find appealing! 😂 May just move a couple out of the keeper pile.

Edited: Because when I type late at night, my spelling is like my brain...scrambled eggs!

Woohoo! Looks like I am in the Echelon family now. Got the compact version ordered and paid for through Springfields special program and I'm now just waiting for it to ship to my LGS. :D Look for the update after she arrives.:s0155:

What is the special program?
It's called Springfield Armory's Firstline Program. For Military/Veterans and Firstline responders. Not all firearms qualify, and it changes periodically.

Did this direct mount to the Echelon, or did it require a plate adaptor? Sorry, with my eyes, I couldn't tell from your photo.
Never mind my friend, I found the answer! :s0155:

I think I might go with the Vortex Defender ST as I see it comes in a green dot also.

There's only one or two Frontline local gun stores in the area however primary arms if you're a veteran and authorized, you can order there but you of course have to pay your local gun store transfer fee

Here's a link to the program I'm talking about with details on how to inquire about it. :s0155:

I ordered the Vortex Defender ST in green dot and also ordered the FDE grip module from Springfield just to make mine not all black. :D

Today, everything seemed to come together as the Echelon arrived and so did the grip module. The Vortex arrived yesterday. Got it all assembled and ready to hit the range. My Echelon package came with 5 mags, range bag and CT red dot so, I'm pretty stoked to say the least!:D

Probably getting ahead of myself, but that's ok since it's me and who cares?! 🤣 I plan to hit the range with the Echelon on Thursday. Today, I ordered the threaded barrel for the 4.0c in preparation for getting a can down the road. Not sure which one yet as I haven't started my search for one. That will be fun as I've not experience in this field yet.
