(Sporter) Enfield No 4 Mk 1 303 British Savage made

I have here a sporterised Enfield No 4 Mk 1 made by Savage. Great shooting and looking gun. Selling to downsize. It comes with a muzzle brake, I do not know if it is removable. I do not know who did the work as I bought it in a gun store years ago. Has a flush fit mag.

Buyer pays transfer.

Nice looking. What's it weigh and how's the bore? I likes me some .303! Someone must have liked it enuff to afix a muzzle brake. Is the rear sight original peep-type?

Sorry there are no peep sights, requires a scope. I have a base but but the rings are missing. Rifling sharp and deep but the lands look a bit pitted - it really shoots well. I have not the slightest clue on its weight, it does not seem any more heavier than typical Remington 700 hunting rifles.

Thanks- it almost looks like it has a rear sight in the pics.. now I see there is no front sight.. used to see a few of these in the Michigan north woods up around the Canadian border- takes me back a few years just looking at it! .303 Brit is a dynamite round, esp if one reloads for it...
