The Glock 19 has become the standard bearer for the "If I could only have one gun" crowd, and rightfully so. It is the perfect platform to shoot, train with and leave the *&^% alone! There are fine examples from other reputable manufacturers that fit this category but the "19" seems to be the undisputed king.
There is nothing wrong with high end, high maintenance tricked out "whiz-bang" pistols but it never hurts to have at least one stock piece that is "stone axe" reliable. Because.... "Chrome don't Git Ya Home."
