I'll be there as well...
Usually get there around 8:30 to sign in. Safety talk at 9, begin shooting about 9:10. Done usually around 1:00.
Bring $12, ear and eye protection, 5 or more mags and enough ammo to complete 6 stages (5 targets per string, 5 strings per stage. Factor in misses when calculating ammo requirements).
Gates should be open, but if not just follow someone in. Head to the Action Range.
Any other questions, feel free to reach out to me or Spookshack.

I generally had a nice shoot. Great squad, decent runs, nice weather.

But.

Towards the end of the day we caught up with another squad. Saw a few of their shooters - get very close, if not over the berm on reloads and unload, show, clear. Not good.
Since I wasn't right there (RO distance), my angle may have been off. However, guns up in front of the face - the typical work space for top tacticool people and USPSA, is already very, very close to having the muzzle point over the berm. Especially on bays 1-3.

There is no reason to be fast at reloads while shooting steel. If you run out of bullets during a string, your time is already going to suck, go safe - go smooth - keep the muzzle pointing AT the berm.

If you don't think you can do a reload with out lifting the muzzle, practice until you can.

Please be careful.

I like shooting steel and I don't want TC to have a reason to boot the club.

Note, if you do this, do not come to Tri-County:

When your life is on the line do what ever you have too. If you are at Parma and have 50,000 square miles of nothing around, I do not care. But, when there are towns in 9mm range ... be safe.

I am selfish. I do not want the range I use shut down because a bullet escapes.
