Hello,

For sale I have an M43 Spanish Mauser. This rifle comes with bayonet, sling, and I have at least 60ish rounds Turkish surplus and maybe 10 rounds of modern PPU 8mm to go with it.

This was one of the first milsurps I ever purchased, and it's been a fun rifle for me. However, it needs some gunsmithing. I have put at least 120 rounds through this rifle. At first, I had some issues with surplus ammo being duds more often than not but upgraded wolf springs corrected that. I took the rifle all the way apart for a deep cleaning and discovered the rifle is all matching except for the barrel. It is still a Spanish barrel, but it was redone. Not by a gunsmith. And I think the barrel probably needs adjustment as I think it was put on using a pipe wrench. Damage under the wood is only to the finish/surface level.

I've shot this rifle before and after making this discovery. Long term had planned on keeping it and fixing it but need funds to settle out a divorce. Asking $300 NOW $200 OBO. Would also accept trades/partial trades. Particularly interested in 5.56, 7.62x51, a nice Harris bipod that can attach to a sling stud mount, or old camera lenses.

Damn pipe wrenches. They should never be around firearms. Mostly curious about the makes on the action and their location. Along the rails or the front lug? Rails could indicate they've been pulled in. Would affect the bolt operation, if crushed to much. Guessing that's not the case as it appears to be functional. And then there's the whole head space issues when someone just slams a barrel into place. Anyway, curious about the damage. I like the challenge of preserving and restoring these fine rifles.

I don't know enough to tell you if anything was crushed, but it doesn't seem that way to me. Included two photos, let me know if that helps
