Source for bare 98 military Mauser receiver?

I know they are pretty much dried up lately.. anyone have a link? All I can find are complete, decent cond rifles which is not what I want

I'm looking for Obendorf/Argentine/Yugo makes.. I will take one with a sewer pipe barrel if the receiver is GTG, have my own barrel and other parts waiting

I know of a gunsmith in Sandy that had several small and large ring actions last time i was out there,will see if i can get a hold of him to check what he has on hand.

Are you looking for a receiver as in bare receiver or a complete action?

I'd head over to gunbroker if you haven't already. I've seen a number of them over there lately.
Some are over priced, but there have been some good deals too.

Just a stripped receiver, I am swimming in parts. I am kinda leery of Gunbroker after I read some reviews of the place.. I would consider it as a last resort, tho

I'm building a modern tactical rifle out of it

Thanks. If I can't find a stripped receiver then these are supposed to be pretty good receivers..
