Dunno if I'd call it a classic, but coming from an old climber, another good Clint fare is The Eiger Sanction

Several things bothered me about that movie as a climber, but I won't go into them here...
But ya really gotta wonder who was in charge of wardrobe when they gave Clint a construction helmet instead of a real climbing helmet... o_Oo_Oo_O

Clint Eastwood's Climbing Outfit in The Eiger Sanction

I was just curious if the helmet that Clint Eastwood wore was a real mountain climbing helmet and this link showed up. Does not say anything about this hat unfortunately.
Au contraire, mon ami! :)
You just didn't read far enough. As I said earlier (Post #14), it's just a construction helmet, as stated here (emphasis added) in the link you provided:

"...While many consider falling to be one of the greatest dangers a climber faces, many can attest to the danger of items—such as rocks or equipment—falling from above. To combat that danger, protective helmets are essential equipment for climbers.

If REI's current lineup or Outdoor Gear Lab's list of favorites are any indication, modern climbing helmets have evolved to look more like bicycle helmets, though Hemlock protects his head with what is essentially a green hard hat not unlike the headgear commonly associated with construction workers, fitted into place with a drab chin strap..."

What is also not well known, and I had nearly forgotten, was that one of the climbing riggers, David Knowles, a very accomplished British climber, was killed by rockfall on only the second day of filming on the Eiger. Eastwood wanted to cancel the whole film, but the other climbers/riggers convinced him that the deceased would have wanted him to finish the film so Knowles would not have died in vain. From the last paragraph in the link:

"...In Memory of David Knowles
David Knowles (1947-1974) was an expert mountaineer who joined Mike Hoover and Clint Eastwood for production of The Eiger Sanction. On August 13, 1974, the second day of principal photography on the mountain, a large rock broke free and smashed into the team, fracturing Hoover's pelvis and killing the 26-year-old Knowles. Following an impromptu wake, Eastwood considered canceling the production but the climbers assured him that completing the production would assure that Knowles' death would not be in vain. You can read more about the incident here."

I'd have to go with a McDonald's double quarter pounder meal supersized paired up with Blazing Saddles so I can get my 'Guilt On' good and proper.

On the other hand, a pan fried rib eye, baked tater and whatever rabbit food I have on hand can be paired up with anything. Loony Tunes to Big Trouble in Little China, it will be a good night.
