Some striker fired polymer that would be superior to this off the top of my head:

Sar 9 $219 and up
Canik - $350 and up
Sig p365
Arex Delta
S&W
Glock
Walther PDP
Hk vp9
Other hk
FN

Metal semi autos that would be superior imo:

1911s from quality brands
Hi power and clones from quality brands
Cz75 and shadow etc
Cz75 clones such as excellent Sar that can be had for $364-$615, Jericho, witness etc
Arex Zero
Sig p226 and others

And probably a bunch I'm forgetting off the top of my head. Absolutely no reason imo to entertain some new gun that adds nothing except potential for new gun bugs. Some people will buy them simply because they are new and because they are…
You've got a weird price first fetish, huh?

My brain remembers the good deals. For example yesterday the cheapest 10/22 was $169 new. Somebody selling an Arex zero in the classifieds for $600 with unknown round count. Right now at cheap gun gun club the new price is $429 plus extra 5% discount. ;)

Magpul is the real winner here. They get to sell a bubblegum-ton of mags to Ruger wether this gun sells or not. And probably a bunch of black grips because nobody wants the stock gray ones.

Ruger made a wet fart

Inside the mind of a tortured genius.

These are the thoughts of a man who, one day soon, won't have a clue how many guns he owns.

I find ammo and stuff I forgot I bought in my safe.
If you don't reload, don't start. That's where my forgetfulness really shines. Last month I saw Starline had .32-20 brass available for backorder. Pulled the trigger on an order of 500. When I put it in the closet with the rest of my brass, I was able to "recall" the box of 100 Starline I had ordered from Midway USA a few years back, as well as "recalling" two sealed bags of Winchester brass I ordered from somewhere sometime long before that. (My ability to "recall" stuff when I'm looking right at it is unparalleled.) So now I have 700 brand new cases for a 6-shot Colt Official Police revolver that I've fired less than 200 times over the past 10 years. I think I'm set for a couple of years. Especially if you consider the 200 or so loaded rounds and the old brass I have.
