Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
That is a great deal for that rifle. I currently have one in 308 and have owned 3 others. Shoots better the the 700's when it was made. A sleeper that few know about. Wish I still had the .223. Deductible for kidney stone removal parted it and several others from me. If I was into the 22-250, I would buy it today. 788's in nice shape are easily worth the $350 without the scope.
I have one of the same rifles, great long range coyote killer. When I take it to the range I get asked is that a model 788? I have been told the action is desirable to bench rest shooters.
