Uber rare Scuba Demo. Not Japanese but the Taiwan version. These are copies of Vietnam era Navy SEAL trial knives used and only 1 original exists today out of 37 original ones. This knife has a different handle than the Japanese version and blade is blued. These are extremely sharp and well made knives that hold edge. $350

Yes. This is the first version worth $700. Sorry I didn't see the pic close up at first. Your knife looks like the 5th SF style one. Still very nice!! And worth money.

Mine is Taiwan and made very well. There is still a difference and Taiwan has strong standards.

First versions are Seki, and they have the stacked leather handle. Also it says SOG/DEMO SCUBA right in the middle off the blade, and it is engraved in the blade, and not etched. Just FYI. BladeHQ sold these for $140 last time I checked.

If they were that price I would have 10!! I bought one Seki Japan used for that price 10 years ago. SOG discontinues a lot of their knives after that they go up. The only true SOG knives now in production worth anything are the SEAL and Spec Op ones. Mine is a second version from Taiwan and made very well. The Japanese ones are good but the bit the blades are too shiny.
