Slings for heavy/large rifles?

Ive got a Savage Stealth in 300WM that Im looking to sling..

Its got a 26" hvy bbl & is close to 10-11lbs with scope.

Anyone have sling recommendations for something like this?

If I were to carry a rifle like that, I'd prefer something wide to disperse weight and with a non-slip texture. I never thought I'd say this, but maybe a claw sling?

I'd vote for a leather 1907 style sling.

I found this on Amazon for my 11 lb AR-10 and it works very well in reducing felt weight and increasing comfort...

Get a surplus M60 sling. Padded where you need it, tough as nails. Although I know it may not meet "tacticool" requirements these days.

My vote would be a biathlon style sling.

Savy Sniper makes a great product and they have a sling for heavier precision rifles but I don't have any experience with it.

They also have a heavy duty sling for the M249 SAW. And you can pretty much order their products however you want...with whatever attachment hardware you want, if you want/don't want a bungee incorporated, wider webbing, etc.
