Saw a wolf crossing the road way back in the early 90's just west of Dayville.

Interesting note on coyotes. In the last 6 mo or so nextdoor has tons of reports of coyotes hunting in packs in Portland. Fe one lady walking with their kid last week had coyote pack circling them and would not go away. Good excuse to carry that extra little .22 with suppressor.

I wonder if this is due to coyotes or due to disease. I've definitely seen way less rats lately.

Fewer calls about rat problems a ‘mystery’; Portland area still has plenty of attractions for the pests

Calls to Multnomah County about rats have fallen for at least the past five years.
