If you had to choose one manufacturer, what would be your all time favorite for shooting enjoyment? Can be any maker, extant or extinct, of any type, for any reason.

Enjoy!

Difficult to choose just one.

For modern firearms....
I like Remington....
This is my first gun that I owned...still have it.
Still shoot and hunt with it.

Savage is nice too....

And while I don't have an actual Hawken Rifle from back in the day...this one will have to do...:D

Now thats a loaded question...
Thats kinda like asking a golfer if he could only choose one club.

The one mfg Ive enjoyed the most rounds from are my "matching" Colt 1911s, both almost 30 years old now. So I guess Colt. These two pistols have been most everywhere with me, its been very hard giving them up for modern plastic technology.

Springfield Armory in Massachusetts. Formally known as the United States Armory. For firearms, they made everything from muskets to semi auto rifles. Even made M1911's.

The one I have different kinds of guns is CZ. I have a rifle, pistol and shotgun. The single brand I have the most of is Ruger but those are all revolvers. So between those two brands I'd have to pick Ruger because CZ doesn't make revolvers. That being said right now I'm shooting my CZ's more than my Rugers.

Probably S&W, not the new ones, thankfully there are plenty of old ones out there.
Same, though there is a mix of new and old in the present collection. While it would be difficult to narrow down all time favorite, numbers wise, I have to say:

S&W as well as Ruger (rimfires) for me
thinking about it, if we could only have 1 manufacturer Ruger would be a top candidate.
From their 10/22, MK pistols, to self defense pistols, AR rifles, and hunting rifles, its one mfg that covers most all bases for firearm needs.

I haven't owned or fired a vast majority of available firearms in the market enough to have an opinion of each and every manufacturer's performance and quality. I know the opinions and reviews of others, and I know enough from my own purchases what I don't like about certain ones. I'll likely never have a favorite, but my CZ has been a beautiful example of a pistol that I'll favor for a long time. My Mossbergs, Remingtons, Springfields, Rugers, and S&Ws have been very dependable, and even some of the budget friendly options have been good to me like the Tisas 1911 .45 I picked up a while ago (surprisingly sturdy and tight tolerances). If I had to pick an overall manufacturer as a favorite, I'd probably go with Winchester, not only for their rifles, but more simply because of the history of the company and the contribution to research and development of so many advancements in firearms technologies and munitions that they've made to bring us to where we are today.
