Use that trigger assembly video by Sig Guy that's been posted here. After 15,000+ rounds, mine finally broke during a friendly competition last weekend. So, exactly how difficult is this to replace? Any special tools required? Do I need three or four hands to do it? Or is it better just to take it to a gunsmith?

I took forever getting around to ordering the new spring (and a guide rod assembly while I was at it), but they arrived at the beginning of December. I let those parts sit around a bit while I reviewed the SIG Guy video above, helpfully posted by @1775usmc. Then, I set about to replace it one night a coupla weeks ago, before Christmas. It all went together in less than 5 minutes, success the first try, with no springs launched into low earth orbit. I was quite satisfied with the results.So.... How long did it take you and how many times did little springs launch to the moon?
I should probably do that next. Thanks for the suggestion! If you've got that many rounds on it and the reset broke. I'd either refresh the striker springs. Or just buy a new one. I replace my striker assembly ever 5k or so rounds and I keep a few spares in my sig bin as well. Same as the sear springs. Refresh them every couple thousand rounds and you're good to go.
