I have a p220 compact sas and love it! I carry it everyday. I have a 239 in a 9mm that I used to carry but once I got the 220 compact I never looked back. Highly recommend it. My wife says it doesn't recoil any harder than the 239. I would have to agree. I don't know how familiar you are with sigs but you can't beat the Cadillac recoil. Hope this helps
