Two dead, two wounded in Nevada middle school shooting
Two people are dead and two children critically wounded after gunfire erupted Monday at a Nevada middle school, Sparks police said.
The Reno Gazette-Journal, citing Sparks City Manager Shawn Carey, said the shooter was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
...
Kyle Nucum, 13, told the Gazette-Journal that he witnessed another student shoot his teacher. Nucum said his teacher saw the student with a gun and ran to the student to tell him to put the gun down. He was then shot.

A 7th grader told KTVN-TV that she saw a fellow 7th grader shoot a teacher and possibly another 7th grader.

Can't wait to hear how they spin this to be about guns and not some dumb parents leaving firearms around for their dummy children to misuse.

Imagine if the teacher who gave his life to protect the other children had been armed. Another tragedy that could have been minimized with someone trained, armed and in authority nearby.
SHooter could have stolen the gun from parents or simply bought it on the street, hopefully we will find out more details.
