Intended to be an introduction to competitive shooting. Lower bar of entry. Shorter time commitment

Minimal fee. Shooter can either bring their own Sig or rent one.

Looks like it's
$50.00 a year to join the "shoot Sig" club and $45 to shoot the match and $20 extra for each additional class like iron or optics. I couldn't find the age break down to see if I'm a super senior or not. I'll be 68 by then.

This is a public event so non members can shoot it like they would any other match at TCGC. Shoot Sig has a FB page that can be helpful with asking questions with regards to the match. I'm no longer on FB, but I thought they changed the rule requiring membership to shoot the match. If not a member, you won't be eligible for prizes though….

If you are a die hard Sig fan, or you or someone you know is wanting to dip their toes into competition in a laid back and fun match atmosphere , then most definitely go out and shoot it.

If you are a seasoned Competitive shooter, the juice is not worth the squeeze. IMHO
I shot the inaugural match at TCGC last year. Mainly out of curiosity. It was a well run and fun match. I have no desire to shoot the match this year though . I think once they get it fined tuned some more, it will be good marketing tool for Sig. I've never shot a GSSF match, but a few folks I know that have, said the Sig match is way better format. YMMV of course.

I don't have a problem with the fees just like all the information up front. To answer my own question it looks to be 65 to be a super senior shooter. This might be fun I've got a couple of Sigs that would work but it's the same weekend as the Albany Gun Show.

I understand that a shooter pics a one hour time slot. So it would be possible to do both.

I'll be a vendor at the gun show, so this Sig event is a no go for me. I do want to do more match shooting in the future but the timing is wrong for me on this one.

4 shooters per squad. Rount count is low and there are only 3 stages. A plate rack stage, a steel challenge type stage and a paper target stage.
