Just put this on:
Shot with some Federal #4 buck 2.75" - not bad.
Shot with some Winchester 00 buck 3" (Double X Magnum, 15 pellets) - big difference in recoil from the 2.75" #4. Much louder, much more recoil, especially with the fore-end (a lot more muzzle rise). The second shot made me lose my grip on the fore-end even though I was holding it tight and had my hand inside the loop.
Ok.
But there is a problem; when I went to feed the second 3" shell into the chamber, it didn't feed all the way. Something caught the forward edge of the brass near the extractor and ripped it such that the brass was sticking up. I forced it in, but it shouldn't do that.
This is what it looks like after it was fired and ejected:
Suggestions?
I don't feel any rough edges anywhere.
