That's not a very big quantity. My advice, use UPS. Follow their directions in how to prepare it for shipment, instructions are online. There have been discussions here about it. It will cost a pretty penny to ship even this quantity. I'd consider selling it, then replace it later with the money. And the money saved in shipping.
 
No can ship ammo thru the post office. It has to go UPS/Fedex ground to a street address not a PO Box. Also has to be droped off at a Service center not a UPS Store and needs a black diamond sticker on it. No Haz-met fee on ammo, just standard rates apply.
 
@MarshalChillN Why not just have it shipped in your personal belongings that are headed to Texas?
Unobtrusive/nondescript box, marked "dishes" (or something else pretty heavy) for the movers.
If you're worried about the movers stealing it, they ain't gonna open a box of china...
