Sept 7th, '24 Triangle Pit (again)

The WA Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, along with DNR and Trash No Land, are getting together at the Triangle Pit on Sept 7th for a cleanup. All are invited! I'm providing the volunteer lunch. Hope you can make it!

Be sure to RSVP to the website link on the BHA page, so we can get a close head count for lunch. I always seem to order more food than needed, so I'm looking for a non-profit org to donate any extra. Might be the Chehalis Tribe this time. I'll know soon. If not, I'll need a recommendation for an org to take the extra Deli Sandwiches.

Another successful project went down today with 3 members representing NWF… I figure it might be due to short notice but one has to wonder.

Ha! Yeah, I've been called that once or twice!

As you can see, I was getting some video of the final product. Man, I'm really surprised that 35 people got that whole pit really clean! Huge transformation from what it was when we started! Seemed a bit overwhelming!

Sure great to see you again, Jim! You're looking good!

I'll have a report soon. Might even put together a little video of the day. I had such a good time with all the people there.

I did too, was feeling a lot better than last time, I was in bad shape after falling off the camper steps in September.

I felt good enough to beat the tweakers to the Lytle pit this evening.
