Seeking AEM5

Hey all – I'm looking to purchase an AEM5 and my local shop (WCA North) doesn't work with any distributors that carry it. From Allen Engineering's Website, it mentions Crossroads Firearms in Vancouver and Marshall Arms in Ferndale, both of which are hours away.

Availability is tough for the AEM5 – do these local shops actually carry inventory?
Is there any advantage to buying from these shops over the phone vs buying from an online dealer if I'm just transferring to my local shop?

If your just going to buy it and have it shipped to your local SOT, then it doesn't matter where you buy it. Your probably going to be paying a transfer fee regardless.

As SCARed led in direction, purchasing a suppressor, is very similar to "buying" a firearm online. The suppressor gets shipped to a local SOT for finals and waiting period.
