Search Private Message Trash Folder?

So, I've been working through nine pages and over three years worth of PMs cleaning things up. After I've gotten down to just the things I would have to refer back to, I plan on permanently deleting the messages in Trash as there is no need to waste the database space. Question: Is there any way to search messages in Trash? I think I deleted on on accident. No the end of the world, just curious. Thanks.

If you know who it is from you can use the filter.

I don't think there's a way to search by text, but like @deadeye mentioned, you can filter by recipient
