School me on chronographs

I bought an Oehler back in the early 1980's. We had to buy 3 to get the price down to $360 each. Never regretted it. An excellent product. But I wish I would have upgraded it when they offered an exchange for the new Skyscreen 3 system with the printer. I'd like to have a printer. And if you shoot a Skyscreen it only cost $16 to replace it.
