Looking to sell off some of my toys to fund other hobbies. Based on the serial number and research that I've been able to do, this one began life in 1900 as a Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11. It was sporterized and re-chambered to .308 sometime in the 50's-60's ('Alpine' sporter is the name I've seen given to these).

Still shoots great, I just don't have much of a use for it.

Asking $200 (Covers transfer fee) at your FFL of choice (prefer Tigard Pawn) between Portland and Salem.

No trades.

I have one of these. I grew up with it. It was my dad's, which I've inherited. It's a great rifle. Very interesting action on these.
