Offering a nice example of a rarely seen antique Alexander Henry falling block Sealing rifle. Made for the seal hunting trade ships primarily off Greenland late 1800s. Henry was well known for his finely crafted engraved double rifles purchased by the wealthy for big game hunting. Only a small amount of these sealing rifles were produced with the estimate being around 500 total.
Chambered in .450 Black Powder Express 3 1/4".
Early production rifle with serial #17**. In good condition with nice shootable bore. Repair on buttstock could be cleaned up a bit. Also some dings on stock probably sometime in last few decades. Appears to be all original. Had been in a private collection for last 50 years.
