Reviving an older thread.

Just about any gun maker and model has good and bad reviews, even down to the customer service agent to spoke to. One could be having a bad day and the next would do almost anything to make you happy.

I personally have had good experiences with SavageArms over the years....I should've bought them when they were $5/share.

Holy necro-thread this just keeps on going. I finally got a pair of used firing pins in this week. Hopefully I will be able to work through this guns issues and get it semi reliable. As to Savage, I have kept my word and not purchased another one. I even looked at a Rascal last week for my newborn and will buy a Cricket instead.

I have a larger grinder and a belt sander now. Maybe I need to get some more firing pins on order
